Departing at 9:30 AM from the captivating Fierze, our journey promises an immersive experience as we navigate through the pristine Komani Lake, surrounded by craggy rocks that seem to reach for the sky. The journey to Shala River unfolds like a visual poem, characterized by the mesmerizing blue hues and the refreshing cold waters that define this Albanian gem.

Upon reaching Komani Lake, take a moment to absorb the breathtaking surroundings before embarking on a tranquil boat ride. The boat journey, lasting approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, presents awe-inspiring views, preparing you for the unrivaled beauty of Shala River.

Around 11:10 AM, we arrive at Shala River, often referred to as the pearl of the Albanian Alps, where nature’s wonders unfold in ways that defy mere words.

During our 4-hour stay at Shala River, you have the opportunity to witness a real miracle crafted by nature. Delight in the crystalline waters, and for those seeking adventure, partake in activities such as zip-lining, canoeing, or simply relaxing on the scenic beaches.

The return journey begins around 16:00, ensuring that the memories of this extraordinary tour linger long after you’ve left. Please note the availability of restaurants and guesthouses at Shala River, offering traditional Albanian cuisine for those looking to savor local flavors (not included in the travel ticket). We welcome you every day of the year to experience the unmatched beauty of Fierze to Shala River.

Tourists staying at Shala River guesthouses can use the same ticket for the return trip on a different day at no extra cost. You must notify us in advance during booking.

• Weather & Water Levels: In case of bad weather or low water levels, we will notify you in advance for rescheduling or modified trips to scenic lakeside locations.
• Walking: We would like to inform you that, in some seasons, the water level of Komani Lake may remain below normal for an extended period. In such cases, a walk of approximately 20 minutes will be required.
